The workshop is hosted and taught by our founder, artist and Carpet weavier Tim Shakiba. Tim has been weaving rugs professionally for over 15 years, working with private clients and interior and fashion designers to produce THE MOST VALUBALE Handmade Rugs.

Tim Shackiba will be teaching the fundamentals of weaving, proper technique, sourcing supplies and finishing options, reading the carpet maps and designing technics to make your own design and give you an insight into the practice of a professional weaver.. By using our technics you can CREATE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF QUALITY AND VALUE. PERSIAN HANDMADE CARPET HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE CARPETS FOR DACADES AROUND THE WORLD .Tim will share her intuitive process of designing by working to create imagery, color patterns, and texture within the work.He welcomes students who have a specific design in mind as well as students who are starting from a blank slate.Our rug weaving class is a 2-day workshop that takes you through the full process of weaving rugs from start to finish. Learn this unique craft in an intimate setting, with hands-on guidance from professional weaver Tim Shackiba .In the class you’ll set up your loom, weave your rug with plenty of support and advice along the way. Each class is limited to just 9 students, allowing plenty of time for one-to-one teaching and to ask any weaving questions.
